Hotel pools

are some of the coolest things in the world when you're a young boy -- or at least my sons seem to think so. So here I am sitting here in the hotel room after playing a great game of Marco Polo with the boys in the hotel pool. We played the version where I was it and once I tagged one boy he was frozen. He could be unfrozen by his brothers and so it was kind of like the never-ending game of Marco Polo. Even so, I really enjoyed spending time with the guys in this way. We laughed a lot and had much fun.

This is part of the joy I have right now in following Jesus -- loving my sons and enjoying time with them. Speaking of which, I'm signing off to do a bit more of that.
